You'll fly from your departure location to SJO International Airport. Then catch a short local flight (20min) to Cobano.  There are two airlines that fly from San Jose to Cobano: Sansa and Green Airways.

A taxi from the airport directly to sunrise mountain takes about 20 minutes and costs about $40. (Taxies hold up to 4 people, and we use a trusted Taxi service to help arrange your travel once you land. You can also use our service to go directly to town (about 25-35 minutes from airport) and this might cost a bit more, depending on exact location.

We purposely arranged for this retreat to fall on Sunday-Friday so that you have plenty of extra time on either side getting to the retreat center, or you may consider staying a little longer to soak up the magic of Santa Teresa.

It is strongly suggested that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself, your belongings, and your investment before, during, and after your time on the retreat. You can do this after you book your flight and pay the remaining balance. We recommend using www.travelguard.com

We highly recommend purchasing flights no earlier than 90 days prior to the retreat start date and no later than 60 days prior to the start date of the retreat.

Make sure your first flight to San Jose and your second local flight to Cobano are harmonious.

We have an amazing private chef curating all of our meals. They will provide meals that are gluten-free, dairy free, with plant-based and locally sourced meat options.

Upon booking we will collect all of your dietary restrictions to be shared with our chef.

Note that each house has their own kitchen. You may bring/purchase any food or drink items you would like to consume during the retreat.

Sunrise Mountain is a short distance from town. You can hire a taxi (can take up to 4 people) or you can rent a ATV for $70 per day which holds 2 people.

The retreat home does not have a spa.

However Hotel Tropico Latino has a fabulous Spa and Wellness center in town offering professional massages, wraps, and exfoliations made with fresh natural ingredients such as papaya, cucumber, coffee, coconut, almonds, carrots, honey, and mint, most of which are locally grown in Costa Rica.

We can also arrange to have a local massage therapist and/or facials to be serviced privately in your room upon request.

Santa Teresa is one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful and popular destinations on the Nicoya Pensinsula on the Pacific side.

It is a quiet and eclectic town with boho surf vibes, cute restaurants, and shops along the one main road.

It has some of the best surfing, outdoor adventuring, and wildlife to explore in the area.

Costa Rican Colones. However, most official businesses will take USD, just note that you won’t be getting the best exchange rate so always try to pay in colones if possible.

For tours and excursions that are not included, you can pay in dollars. 

We will teach a variety of all-levels classes. Each day will provide a combination of effort and ease with inspired movement taught by both Chelsea and Linda.
